Applications
To apply DryVac technology correctly one needs to know a couple of very important things; first how dry do I want it and how does it benefit me as the customer. The following information gives basic applications, how well it will dewater by centrifuge, standard filter press or other dewatering device and then what we normally see as a “dry level” for that application. Keep in mind the clean liquids recovered of reuse or resale like Oil, Water and Solvents.
These are the base Dry Levels in weight per cubic foot for the most common DryVac applications achieving a Dry product in three hours of Stage Two.
Biological Materials 10-15 lbs per cubic foot at 75% solid
Metal Hydroxides 20-25 lbs per cubic foot at 70% solid
Zinc/Copper Concentrates 100 lbs per cubic foot at 95% solid
