Our standard DryVac package includes an electrically operated hydraulic ram to close the press and seal the plates to 3,000 lbs pressure to ensure a tight seal. Each press has the ability to core wash, chemical wash, air blow, diaphragm squeeze, and has the advantage of thermal drying. The Filtrate/Vacuum manifold is Stainless Steel. Each press is automated for all DryVac functions except unloading. If a plate shifter has been included, the automated process can initiate the procedure with operator participation. All presses will come with back up pressure gauges to read internal pressure, diaphragm pressure and ram pressure.

DryVac units are measured by taking the chamber volume and multiplying it by the number of plates.

Example: a 1200mm plate has a .8 cubic foot chamber volume and if you had a 25 cubic foot press it would have 32 plates.

Each cubic foot should be able to receive 100 gallons @1% solid material per cubic footand dry it to apotential 99.9% if desired. If your solid was 10% the same space would allow a flow of 10 gallons. This is material dependant, but a good standard for judgement. Testing the material is the best option to determnie size or contact DES directly. We have included more information on our applications page of the web site
